To Greg Timbers - Quantities manufactured

In the Teak line of the "Ti" series of speakers, how many pairs of each Model; i.e., 250, 240, 120, and 18, were made? I am not interested in any of the Piano Black speakers. Thank you for your time.

maybe that's part of the issue .... 035Ti's are plentiful and easy to find replacements ....044Ti's are still out there and available and reasonable if you buy some 18Ti's for insurance, BUT try sourcing a 050ti ..

That would be akin to finding the HF from some Century Golds.

very slightly related. A CL ad in my area has L-112's. Tweet doesn't look right to me, but I did a Google search and some pics showed it this way and some didn't.

That's all it is. Actually looks good that way but taking a chance . . .
Last I checked, only the black screen was available from JBL. I suppose with a little silver paint? Or paint stripper?

yeah, I guess. had never seen a L112 and the 4 exposed bolts threw me.
just didn't have the finished JBL appearance.

since many screens are smashed down, the amount of protection seems limited

There are in fact plenty of speakers that used 050TI, at least here in Europe, both the L20-100 series and TI1000-5000 series, quite common in Europe.

But if I'm not mistaken the 050TI used in Jubilee is the gold version used in Century Gold... therefore quite rare yes.

Thereis a set Jubilee for sale within my budget. Refoamed and 12 month guarantee.

Would my Accuphase P266, 133 w/ch, be an ok match?

I tried my 250ti's on a 110wpc Denon receiver .... it was OK, but
switched to bigger power - 375wpc- and greater damping factor, it
improved a lot ... they like power .

I wasn’t familiar with your amp. I looked it up and saw it has a class A switch to change the bias. At 30wpc in class A that sounds like a pretty sweet amp.

I’m afraid the LE14 woofers of the 250tis may prefer more power, but I’d give it a try.

Man, two leads to a pair of 250 Ti's in the Netherlands...! One a set of Jubilee, the other unknown, have contacted the seller...

The Jubilee set is 'refoamed' but does not mention the status of the tweeter (050ti?) which I think is damped..??
