Thank you Hervé!
So those are the in-wall systems sporting the new "perfect" waveguides 4313B told us about.
I have no problem believing those waveguide will maintain a very large directivity up high with their 0.5" exit diameter...
The dual 5" version looks bad ass!
Integrated into a loudspeaker as a rotatable mid/high section, together with a 18" bass driver they would look even more bad ass
The SCL-4 looks like a M2 freezed in carbonite
So it is in fact the small compressiondriver making it "perfect", more than the waveguide shape, then?
The JBL logo is placed in a bad place, isn't it?
Only 97mm deep, and including closed back box. I want them as surround speakers!
But it has the synthesis-name, so will be very expensive, I guess.
Any chance of getting spinorama or polar-diagrams for these, from someone with JBL-connections?
I know Toole thinks all speaker companies should publish dispersion data, so maybe JBL does somewhere?
SCL-4 seems to be wider dispersion than SCL-3, according to the specs.
Is this the two last speakers Mr. Timbers and Mr. Moro worked on for JBL? Some kind of icons, in that case.
What is the intended difference/usage for SCL-3 vs. SCL-4? The specs does not differ so much.
SCL4 69960000 BYR\ea in Belarus (about $3500) ..
