Hello,
I am going to freshen up the boxes and want to remove everything in the way. Could someone please tell me how the JBL badge is attached so I can remove it without damage? Also, the pin receptacles for the little grill posts, are they threaded or pressed into the box? Should I remove these obstacles, or just work around them?

The badge is just "pinned" into the cabinet, with a single pin in the center rear of the badge plate. If you very carefully pry under it and pull straight outwards, it should come out.

As for the grille snaps- they're pressed in. Be careful, don't pull out any of the baffle material when removing (they can be very tight, and almost adhere to the baffle)...
