    Stretching grill cloth

I am about to put the cloth on my 4345 grills and am wondering how tight should I stretch it and what is the best glue to use?

Depends on the cloth. the original JBL cloths was able to stretch in both directions. Some of the current stuff only stretches in one direction. Either way, avoid over-stretching as this will eventually come loose. Really just a slight stretch is adequate. As for glue, I never found one I like. I've used a few different spray-on adhesives.

I tested a few glues. Found that Goop was the stuff. Glue the sides first, and leave about two to three inches unglued at the corners. After the sides have dried, staple the corners first, then stretch and staple the remaining sides to get any loose wrinkles out.

    Regards,
