    EN5 DIY build

Hi folks- I've been a member here for sometime and haven't needed to reach out for help, till now. I acquired a very nice pair of empty EN5 cabinets, complete with grilles, a month ago. I have a nice pair of 2225H woofers that I want to use in them. I want to add LE85 mids and 2405 highs to finish off this project. My question is what are the recommendations for a crossover? I have looked at specs on various single and double versions and I'm still not sure what may be the best way to go. Cost isn't a huge factor, excellent sound reproduction is. I will be pushing these with a Marantz 2600 via a ADC SS3-IC equalizer.
Any suggestions would be great. Many thanks in advance. Bob

    Hi Bob,

I'd start looking here at the CC networks posted and see if it can accommodate a 2225. I wanted to build something similar with a 2235, 2440 with H93 horn and 2405 about 3 years back. After some talk with Widget I ended up building some 2397 style horns instead of the H93 and couldn't have been happier. 2397 and 2440 was way smother than anything I previously heard.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Much Appreciate the link info. I should have added to my post that I am at a complete loss when it comes to building or modifying electrical components. I am a cabinet maker/ remodeler that can build anything in wood or metal, but electrical is not on my resume. Any other ideas? Anyone here who can make/modify a pair of XXXX crossovers for me?
