I recently bought a project set of L36's
The biggest issue is that the grilles are missing.
Would someone be willing to snap off a few pics of their L36 grilles?
I need a shot from the inside to see how they were constructed

Please take a pic of your L36 grilles for me. Pleeeeze!
Found a pic
Now, would anyone out there kind enough to provide a few measurements?
I know somebody has an original L36 grille
A nice person perhaps?
Free bump.
If I were you I'd keep a sharp eye on eBay offerings; L36 and L26 grilles come up for sale every so often. I'd think you could snap up a very nice pair for under $50. Of course, if you want to fabricate them yourself that's a different story...
I'm glad to see people restoring some of these more "entry-level" vintage JBLs. The higher-end JBLs are getting pricier and "a rising tide lifts all boats". Last year I bought a mint pair of L26 Decades in original boxes off eBay for just over $200. They came complete with perfect original dark blue fabric grilles which look beautiful with the light oak veneer of the cabinets. That period JBL quality will never go out of style. They have such a smooth sound too, for a 10" 2-way.
