JBL 4367's are made in Mexico

Somebody on the forum was asking where the 4367's are made. I looked at my packing containers and they are made at the Harman plant in Mexico. At least it's not China!

    JBL plant location

Is that the Harman facility located a hundred yards from the US border and right up the street from a Bose plant? Sheesh.

I do not know where in Mexico the factory is. I know most of us, if not all, would prefer JBL to still be built in the US. However in my experience running a retail audio business, not enough people will back up their politics with their checkbook. Unfortunately lower prices tend to trump US manufacturing origin.

    BMW Comes To Mexico

Even in this explosion of crossovers, the 3 Series remains BMW’s top-selling vehicle and one of the most-purchased luxury cars in the U.S. Right now it’s built in Germany as well as South Africa, but starting in 2019 when the all-new 3 is released, the latter will cease so BMW can build the car in Mexico instead, reports Automotive News. The sedans will be built at an all-new plant touted for its technology and environmental friendliness.

Yeah, that makes it all better

And they just laughed and laughed and laughed at old Ross Perot with his "hear that sucking sound?" metaphor

Just laughed and laughed and laughed and mocked and mocked and mocked too

    I shouldn't but I am going to.

    Coincidence?

Yesterday afternoon I dropped what I was doing at work to move an old friend out of his condo in a hurry, a result of a failed retirement plan and our lousy economy.

Last night I watched 13 Hours.

This morning I crossed a rail grade separation over a mile long train of containers coming inland from China and thought "That's just f----d up."

I read this as Bruce Springsteen's My Home Town randomly played on the 4435's, no kidding.

I am just pissed at my government and the way so many publicly held companies operate.

I will refrain from further,,,, let me just say it is really time for change. We need to wake up America!

You are right on both counts. We can not have this discussion on LH Forum.

I don't think anyone will argue with the second point, however screaming will ensue shortly as people have different ideas of what needs to be done, or worse yet parrot what they've heard elsewhere.

It's located in the heart between two seas, just across the street from San Diego, about a block from the border fence
