Thanks Johan for posting your experience with 2215H in the M2 enclosure. Sounds good to hear. Im going for an extra baffle/front one for 2215 and another for 2216. When I finally can lay my hands on a pair of 2216 I will glue everything together but before that it will be screwed together.

It was not my intention to be a wiseass. Sorry. It is interesting with ideas and out of the box thinking. Are you planning on a M2-clone? Where in Norway do you live? I`m thinking of building one more pair of M2`s. Have D2`s for a second setup.

Mabye I should build a extra pair of poor man's M2 with 2226 and some cheaper 1,5" driver.

Yes, my sims verify that what you say about the 2216Nd-1, it goes a little bit deeper in the lower bass area (I have post the sims for the 2216Nd-1) so You could compare both speakers.

Im not going to swap the 2216Nd for the 2215H Im only going to use the 2215 until my wallet has grown a little bit bigger

I also hve the LE14H-1, 2245H, 2235H (soon also LE14H-3) but no one seems to fit the M2 enclosure better than the 2215H

No problems Kalle och tack det samma
My location is south of and not far from Bergen................ But Im a Swede, born in STHLM

My plans are to build an M2 clone. But the 2216Nd is rather expensive, approx 12-13.000 NOK for a pair over here. Thats why I was investigate for an alternatives as long as I dont afford a purchase. I already have the 2215H since long time back, they are a very god bass driver as long as you dont push them harder than the allowable X-max. And they go high, at least as high as the x over frequency of the M2. But they are not any "high power" speakers...............
On top I have the 2451H and J (I have both) including a pair of M2 wgś
Im also building a couple, maybe two pair of the Krell KSA100/200 clones The problem is the chassis. Very expensive ones.......

Btw do you remember where sebackman posted the drowings of the M2 wgś adapter plate. I have seen it but now I couldt find it

    Hi guys,

I will mail it to you. I do have 6 pairs on order. I will check on Monday on status. One pair is for Kalle and one pair is for Baldrick. I don't need more of them :-). The others are for sale for fellow JBL nuts.

    Kind regards

If possible, I would like at least 3 adapters or 2 pairs

I think that you are talking about the square aluminum JBL blocks? Believe Reconing Speakers carries them. Fifty bucks apiece!!
