Out of curiosity, is your waveguide sitting a little proud? I ask because it seems, to me, that ribs on the back of waveguide would hit the opening you provided. I seem to recall ours needing to be a bit wider that what it appears to be on yours. Everything else looks nice though.
Steve,
Whilst I was asked to come up with a Sub 18 clone and might still do so, I actually found someone in CA selling 3 of them factory new for $1799 each so it really didn't make much sense. Can't really comment on the SUb 18's performance in that range since I didn't get to test it.
Now if I could find a couple of JBL’s 2269H for a lot less than what their going for at $900 a piece I wouldn't have hesitated.
Looks good. Round thing in round hole while rectangle thing in rectangle hole!

Could you please post the 2451SL on the horn no EQ?? Would love to see just how close the 476 Mg and the 2451SL measure on the same horn. My guess is close but would really like to see an actual measurement.
Thanks Rob

Hello Pos
Will send you a PM in the mean time as another reference here is a 476Mg on the M2

Thank you, that is a nice complement to Rob's impedance measurement here:

Surprisingly the peak positions are closer to the D2430K than to the 16 ohm 2451SL...
A question for those how 3D-printed their ports based on the STL files.
What printing parameters did have success with? (material, infill, layer height, thickness, etc.)
