Altec 420A, Help w/ Cabinet Identification

I bought a set of speakers that have an Altec logo on the grilles, Altec 420A speakers, and Electrovoice T-35 horns inside. Can anyone tell if this was an Altec supplied cabinet? I saw a cabinet that looked identical for sale on cannuckaudiomart and they were calling it an Altec 861A cabinet from 1968. I'm assuming this is some type of cabinet kit.

Certainly Altec designed, and to me those examples look factory made.

The logos on the cabinets were supplied by Altec to hobbyists who built their own cabinets for Altec components, then supplied Altec with proof of their handywork in the form of photos. Those particular Altec logos never appeared on any Altec-built products.

ALTEC inspired perhaps, but not an ALTEC design or product. They look like someone's attempt at a cross between an 846, and an 861,
which was a smaller version of the 846 without the divergent panels on either side of the grill. I have never known ALTEC to provide cabinet
kits. These you have posted here are obviously home brew, and by the looks, have several glue joints compromised. Probably due to age or
    environment.
