    Here's Google's wacky translation:

Never to never eyes in commercial products, has been assembled by the ultra-luxury component parts, the design of a dedicated network, we are supporting this sound. At first glance, the huge external-type network of power amplifier just like,KRS 4343 but is the highest peak network that has been developed for, query many to be transient, we've decided to do this every single sale. It corresponds to the JBL 4343,4344,4345. Denmark · Jantzen luxury metallized polypropylene film capacitors, including the Silver Z-Cap, in all of the filter coil, Finemet cut core (nanocrystalline soft magnetic material) I am the coil was dedicated production. In addition, this coil also serves as a role as a level adjustment for the attenuator of each band not only for the filter. A dedicated circuit design by Ken Rick sound, a simple configuration, is that it is tailored in a lush part is the point at which the signal from the amplifier can delivery to each unit in a state where there is no loss without limit. Besides and non-magnetic gold-plated terminals, direct connection by 3.5sq Teflon-coated silver plated wire, such as steatite insulator MIL-spec high-grade switch, high-quality parts were housed in a lavishly Solid walnut case, it is a real crossover . With only the back of the switch, single amplifier drive, bi-amp drive, by-wire connection, 4way multi-amplifier connection, it is the ultimate product that corresponds to all. The struggle to amplifiers and players until now, enough to feel and what is the cost that has been spent on cables was what the heck, the speaker that governs the overwhelmingly high sound quality, among other things is the quality of the network. You could get 3-4 pairs of 4343/4344 for that kind of money, or maybe a mint pair of 4350's.
Seriously there is nothing that should cost that much in those xovers, even when wired with gold plated unicorn hair.

Preface that with "There was a time when..."

Seriously... Whether the performance to dollar ratio makes sense to everyone, It's obvious some time and care went into building those.
I'd imagine they'd sell fairly quickly to someone with a JBL jones and 11K burning a hole in their pocket.

Yeah it's crazy money no doubt. However I have been to Kendrick sound and can confirm that his restorations are immaculate and (at least the Paragon that was demo'd for me) sound incredible. So I bet it actually does sound pretty good.

I cant think why they used a see through lid on the box. Manufacturers usually do that so people can see something wonderful inside.
However in this case there is nothing of the sort. They look like crap.
