Best horn for JBL 2450 2"

Hi David , when you take into account the £££ of the Be dia's and the possible cost of exotic horns and also that you are only using the horn from 1.6KHz I would suggest that you get on the train and get some D2 drivers and the M2 throat. Pos got his into France without any hassle. I think you would come out ahead on the £££ front and on the sonic wonderfulness front too.
You are using DSP to run all this ?

No Im using a Marchand Active crossover. I think the problem of DSP is the limitation of the DAC which seems to have a huge influence on the sound quality. I physically time align which is a possible limitation on the horn as the overhang can start to interfere with the 2123 output.

As I'm using the JBL 2123 between the 2245 and horn there is a lot of flexibility on frequency range my own choice would be about 600-700hz keeping everything in there best range.

I already have the JBL 2450s can be had at some very good prices in the UK from about £250-£350.00/ pair!

I have heard them with 2441. Very nice horns.

I would go for EJMLC-300, http://horns-diy.pl/horns/e-jmlc/e-jmlc-300/, using an alu or coated ti diaphragm and a supertweeter.

Or an JMLC-200T, http://horns-diy.pl/horns/jmlc/jmlc-200t/, with a Radian diaphragm, and above that a EJMLC-1000, http://horns-diy.pl/horns/e-jmlc/e-jmlc-1000/, with a one inch driver.

I like the E JMLC as well but they are expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm using a pair of JBL 2405s so this would be good.
