    Horizontal mointing 4315, 4344

With the 4333 cabinet I had im noticing it had velcro tabs for vertical and horizontal mounting,
Does the 4315, or 4344 allow the same mounting? Every picture I have seen of the pair has no second
    Set of 2308 lens tabs.

Also can anyone give me an idea of listening distance using the lenses, as well as placement height.
For example with the 4333 the height for which I remeber being quoted is 10 inches
    Thanks.

I don't think the 4344 or 4345 for that matter were ever intended to be played horizontal and it's possible there's not enough room on the baffle to rotate the lens 90-degrees, since it was never intended to be used that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong but does the 4341 even have a compression driver, much less a 2308 lens?

    Hello BMWCCA/bldozeir

The 4340/41 did indeed have compression driver and lens. It was the first large format 4 way. The 4343 had a rotatable baffle that moved the position of the 2121/2420/2405. You would have to change the orientation on the lens and 2405 on the 4343. As far as the 4315/4344 you would have to rotate the 2405's Not sure what the polar response would be like. It's always a good idea to get the 2308 and 2405 close to ear level as they get very directional in the vertical axis.

    Sorry.
Dozier asked about the 4315 which is what my reply referenced, even if I mis-typed 4341 for some reason.
I don't believe that model has a compression driver or lens to rotate.

Your right it uses the 2105 midrange driver instead. No time alignment issues.
