Not my personal experience with them, but a guy in my audio club took a radio repair class recently and refurbished an old family Fisher 500 receiver. He's using them, and that Fisher sounds terrific. Expected coloration. Mix up a Manhattan, and it's like you're in an episode of Mad Men. He's a vintage tube/tube amp guy, and said he wouldn't pay for a set of NOS 7591s, if he could find them, especially after hearing these reissues.
