This thing showed up yesterday morning on one of the local ad pages. They guy was giving it away. I was first caller but more than an hour drive. I never got a second call back. Maybe someone offered him some money.
Still wish I knew what it was.
It has a battery cable for one connection.
Perhaps some kind of Civil Defense Air Raid siren??
maybe a mobile one ... that would fit with the car battery connection ...

Is it a horn, or some kind of funneling device? Grain, or dry product, perhaps ? Covered with corrugated metal it would be a darn good replica of a Mercury capsule..
