    Cool JBL L-112 Tweeter

Been trying to locate some replacement Tweeters (044) for my JBL L-112s but not such luck. I ran into some 044ti for sale. Will they work in my 112s???
    Thanks in advance!

They pop up all the time on Ebay.

Four singles and two pair sold within the past thirty days. Not cheap.

What's wrong with the ones in your L112s?
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Yes, but they won't sound right. Accept no substitute, its 044 or nothing.

Why do you need 2? The 044 is nearly indestructible.

Where are you at in NM?

One 044 was replaced at one time (housing is 044 but not inners) and the other one didn't work anymore. I ended up getting a replacement on eBay for the one and got the other one rebuilt (Speaker Exchange). Just waiting for delivery on the rebuilt unit and I'll be rocking and rolling again! I've had these JBL L-112s since new (early 80's) and my son had them for a number of years and I just re-discovered them in his closet (forgot they existed). So rebuilding them for my setup. @RDGRIMES - I'm in ABQ.
    Best!
