The picture shows bars in question. I was going to upgrade the insulation in Jbl 4343. I removed this bar in order to install new insulation. Any idea what the purpose of it is? I know the bolts in the back of cabinet used to have a tag saying something about their purpose, but can't remember what it said.
It's probably there to reinforce the cabinet for wall or ceiling mounting.

Ok. So for floor standing, they are not used. I thought they were for cabinet stability but I did not know it was for only wall mounting. Thank you for the information
I would suggest you reinstall it so that any future owner doesn't lose most of the cabinet and all of the drivers down on the customer's heads (or friends or family).
