    log in problem

WTH? Seems I get logged out if I blink or go away for a few minutes and then have to log in again - why?

    Sorry. Working fine for me!
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Isn't there a little "[v] Keep me logged in" check close to your credentials when logging in?

I usually only have to log in every month or so, normally with a browser upgrade.

Only check box is one labeled "remember me".

My problems with computers are legion!!!! First job I'd hire for would be a savvy computer operator! How in ____ are people who did not grow up or have no interest in computer technology supposed to operate these ____ things without having problems???

I have no idea what this means!

And probably explaining it will mean little to me or any other computerphobe.

For me that problem has always been not checking the remember me button on login.

If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

So let me ask - what exactly is the function of the "remember me" button? Is it merely (as I suspect) to remember you and automatically fill in your I.D. and password or is its function to keep you logged in until you manually log out?

Other forums I've used let you specify how many minutes you will remain logged in and none have this problem I'm asking about (being repeatedly logged out).

Hate to have to say this but now I wonder how long before this question gets answered
