NPR had a piece this morning about Walmart knocking at Japan's door. Evidently Walmart thinks it's time to renovate Japan's way of doing business. Kill off the "cutesy" mom and pop operations and force all the big players to get lean and mean. It looks like it might be a good brawl to watch.
