Rare RCA Driver Repair ?

I've been trying to find someone who can repair a vintage RCA driver for a friend. One of the drivers is in perfect working order. The other driver when the tech pulled the diaphragm out of the driver the VC was stuck and came apart. However the diaphragm was left intact. The VC just came away.

There are no replacements diaphragms for this driver and if possible the owner would like to repair. Is there someone out there who can wind a new VC and attach it to the diphragm? We have one working model to work from and remnants of the original VC. I know this would be tedious work but the owner knows he won't find another driver or diaphragm.

I believe Steve Schell has the ability to do that. He might have to tool some pieces to recreate the dimensions for that driver and that would obviously drive up the repair cost.

I would shoot him a PM and see if he is interested in doing that.

Why am I humming Motley Crue?

I'm sure that it's possible to repair.
Finding someone who will do it right and not screw it up is the trick.
