You may know this - the 108H replaced the LE8T in later models of the Aquarius...

Both drivers have different intended applications. The 108H was designed specifically as a midbass/midrange driver. The LE8T was designed as a full range driver. Hence the aquaplas coating and use of an aluminum dome dustcap to extend the bandwidth at both extremes. If your intended application is as a midbass/midrange, then the 108H is a much better choice. It is much more linear than the LE8T over this restricted bandwidth and has higher efficiency.
