    Detached Spider

When I recently refoamed my 2214H woofers, I noticed that the spider on one was beginning to detach. The woofers are date stamped 12/06/85. I ended up using some surround glue to fix it, but i'm wondering how common of a problem this is and if it's something I should be worried about?

don't forget to double-check the voice coil centering by applying 30Hz sine during gluing and drying process
