    I like the idea of slanting the back of the cabinet. That gives you some asymmetry inside and prevents standing waves between the enclosure and the wall if you want to situate the speaker square to the room.

    Is that a TAD driver?

    I whis it was a TAD. It's a very old 2470 with NOS 2421b diaphrams courtesy of Giskard. The slanted back had more to do with esthetics (sap) and not giving the cats a place to perch (true fact LOL) , hence the skinny top, so far it's worked. You had asked before about the drivers, the mids are 10" 2123J from the the tentsale via Boputnam (thx again) and the bottom are 2235H's. Triamped throught a UREI 525.
