I continue to collect budget amps for my tri-amp project (LE15A/375/075). I was gifted a significant Amazon gift certificate and started looking for amps sold on Amazon. I found the Emotiva UPA-200 for about $314. Interesting company who promises quality at a reasonable prices.
Seems to have a good power supply, fans (but many review comments about never hearing them), lots of rave reviews, decent looks, and published test results (https://emotiva.com/products/amplifiers/upa-200).
There are no level controls which seems a bit odd. The Ashly XR4001 that will be driving it does have output levels so that might not be an issue.
I'm also not sure if it has a power-on relay (or some such) that protects the drivers at power on.
Has anyone listened to one of these?
