I gather the trick is pull the drivers and move the empty cabinets ... then reassemble at the final location.
I would rent or borrow a van for safety. Or a station wagon.

I don't follow - we brought the L200 cabinets home in the CRV, and the 4341 Monitors (loaded) from PA as well.
These are only (maybe) 30 minutes away - and no high speed roads are involved.

Perhaps just pulling the Parton Horns would make them safer for transport ---

    Height !

    Hi Heather ,

congratulations on the new speakers . I loved them .... miss them sometimes .
Check the height of the opening before you drive to pick them up ( if youve not already put this on a list )
Van is a good idea as you will need a bit room to manouvre . Maybe leave the woofs in unless you have proper boxes for them .

    Excited for you

Let me know when you want to try to move these, maybe I can help. I have a pick up truck but the window is stuck down...maybe I can get it fixed in time.

Changing to Legacy Audio and started with a Silver Screen HD for my center between the 250TIs

Had an audition and decided not to go that route.
They are a bit too "in yer face" for me - not sure if I mellowed
or they are too strident, but some music was not as compelling
as it on other speakers I have.

What did you expect, a big JBL 4-way sound?

You're not alone. My wife and I left home at 8am to look at a car in Sterling. Home by 12:15 with no new car! Back at work by 12:30. Sigh.
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

I didn't strip and reassemble them, so I can't say for sure.
I was told they had fresh surrounds on the 2234 woofers ... don't know what diaphrams were in the horns.
They are a few years old so the crossovers have aged and could maybe use a recap.
I don't know what they sound like new out of the box - or mounted in a soffit.

But its a great deal - someone should jump on them, no doubt!

Surprisingly, the UREI 809s ARE compelling -
and they are "just" coaxial 2 ways ...
