PBS - Independent Lens: Muscle Shoals

One of my friends mentioned this show was coming in April &
thought I should give the rest of you a Heads up on this one!
I did some googling and found the local PBS magazine station shows that
its playing in our area (DC) on Monday, April 21 at 9 p.m. (looks like a 2 hr feature)

Probably not too far off that date for the rest of you around the country ...

    Independent Lens: Muscle Shoals
explores the rich musical legacy of a small, influential recording studio in Alabama
where a host of rock ’n’ roll, soul, and R&B luminaries created pop classics.

Well butter my biscuit, this sounds like something to watch. Where brother Dwayne honed his chops. Thanks for the heads up, Heather.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I put it on my calender, but I was out of town for work when this aired locally. My wife said it was great. It is available for streaming from Netflix now, and I'll be sure to watch it in the next couple days.

OK, so I bought the DVD and watched this story unfold over the weekend. Oh man, well done. Some life stories, stories of shared experience, how time changes those life stories and experiences. All around this thing called making music.
