Does anyone have a 077 (2405) FRD impedance file that I can use to model my crossover design?
Does anyone have a 077 (2405) FRD impedance file that I can use to model my crossover design?
There isn't one in the endless ring radiator comparison thread?
if not, I can run old 077 or NOS 2405H when I have time (could be a few days)
Hi,
Owing to the 2405/077 high efficiency the usage of L-pad is almost expectable applicable, so the driver impedance would have much less influence to the network response then mathematically calculated putting 10 Ohms emulating drivers impedance.
On some applications JBL used 20 Ohms resistor in parallel to the driver, in order to reduce some driver-impedance peaks.

Thanks Rob! Do you happen to have an FRD file by any chance?
Whoops, I meant a "ZMA" or "ZDA" file, not an "FRD" file.
