    Early JBL 2365?

Hello JBL people!! Few years ago i bought a pair of 2365 from an old sound engineer, for my lovely JBL 4520 speakers. Watching on net photos i (and u) can see that they got no ''nerves'' on the sides and they are also some fatter than the other 2365 horns ! Is that an early model of these horns? Name: IMG_0313.jpg

I have the same 2360A horns. Yours are thicker most likely because the previous owner has laid a few extra layers of fiberglass.

Nice stickers. But even if you added 4cm of fiberglass in the back, it wouldn't affect the front, or the stickers. Some people will add a layer of tar to dampen the horns. Others seem to add more fiberglass.

The 2360/2365 horns have a bad habit of easily cracking. especially near the flange. I wouldn't be surprised if the same had happened to those and that they were fixed, and then while they were there, added a lot of fiberglass everywhere to somehow hide the fix.

As far as I know, there are only two models of. 2360A in fiberglass, and 2360B in plastic, and one model of 2365 in fiberglass with the exposed ribs.

Then you have the 2365 which is same length as the 2360 but with different coverage (60° x 40°) vs the 2360 (90°x40°).
