Can anybody recommend a free download for software to help in drawing cabinets.
Has anybody ever experimented with different dimension cabinets with the same volume to see if it effects sound quality?
Would it make a difference to sound quality if the bass driver were mounted in the side, front or top of a cabinet?
Obviously with the driver always facing the listener, side, top or front just describe our preconceived ideas of what a cabinet should be.
I wanted to put the bass driver in the top and present a very small face of the bass cabinet towards the listener so less cabinet resonance is introduced to the listening room.
I will install the cabinets flush with the wall as per studio monitor practice.
Not cabinet design just basic 2D CAD drawing that is dimensionally accurate.
