    1.5 inch Larger throat version of Biradial Horn - Butt cheeks?

    Saw this ad for what look like larger throat version of the 2344A, are these made by JBL? I don't remember seeing anything like this, supposedly mates with the 244x, 2450, etc.

    The ad sort of implies they're custom, not JBL. Have to wonder how much science went into the (re)design.

    I think these are the P.audio 1.5" buttcheeks clones that Guido and Zilch tested a few years back.
    I think the directivity was not as controlled as the original. For one thing the slot is 1.5" large, whereas it is 1" on the 2342, and something like 0.6" on the 2344, so some beaming is to be expected up high.

    The one in the Graigslist ad is a 1.5", and it definitely is the P.Audio

    The ad says it fits 1.5" throat like 2451 and 2447, nothing about 2450 and 2445
