    Westlake HR-1VF quad-amping

    Hello Friends!

I am waiting for Westlake HR-1VF

    quad - amping only

what do you think about amps for WA?

may be Accuphase A-200 to bass? And 3 pcs A46 for other ways?

Or Accuphase not good partner for Westlake?

    Mark Levinson? Krell?

I want to build reference system

Hard and Heavy music in priority )))

    Thanks!

It (HR-1VF) is certainly impressive, expensive, and imposing... and deserving of quality amplification.
Which, I'm quite sure, is what was being recommended, in POS's opinion... as the description
of Westlake's offering was your opinion (and perhaps that of many others).

It would be interesting to see examples of where the KV2 products have been successfully
    used in critical listening installations

They may have been 20 years ago, but today there is a lot of competition. I may be out of line for this thread, but I have a hard time with that statement.

As to the original poster's question, I would suggest creating a good relationship with a local dealer and borrowing several amplifier choices to try before buying.

    You will have problem ,
I had westlake hr1v with Fm Acoustics tri-amping this was good but not best it was similar to cheap amps BGW tri-amping a bit better for FM
    you can check
    amps like
    Lab gruppen
    Camco
MC2--this sometimes I use to Tad speakers

    quad-amp is difficult

    Hi

    SS is better

for westlake bass I checked carver silver seven 500w tube was quick and hard but not to have deep bass which gives solid state .I had in westlake 2x jbl 2235 I saw HR1 with tad or gauss bass drivers.
