    Hep ID'ing JBL 12 inch

I bought 2 JBL 4622A cabs and thought they had E120's, well that's what I get for thinking. 2 E120's and 2 unknown, one in each so weight was same. They look the same while in the cabs, but completely different once I pulled them. I need some help Id'ing these. Only numbers are t1221 k3, and k4.
    Thanks in advance.

Material for the e-waste recyclers, I'd say.

It's been "serviced", and certainly doesn't look like it has any consistent pedigree.

Explain please, as they sound as good as the E120's they were paired with.

I searched in google for Celestion T1221 and it came up with Celestion Greenback G12M!

The chassis looks the same but it misses the green magnet cover though i've never seen a G12 with a cone like that, maybe it's a hybrid?
Apparently NOT a speaker you'd throw in a dumpster......

The screws are located under the Celestion label / magnet cover. It's a G12M chassis for sure but I think it's a hybrid with RCF/Beyma cone or something like that.

You're probably right. Never took my Marshalls apart to see a Celestion. They sound great. Any idea on what they are worth?

    Thanks

The magnet appears badly damaged, and it's a ceramic driver, with no pedigree- hence my "rubbish heap" assessment. The magnet appears to be cracked all the way through in one spot.

    Sorry, dozed off.
Magnet on one has tiny damage. What you're seeing is a two piece magnet. Photos were on cell phone. I have batteries on recharge now for good camera. Shouldn't take too long.
I emailed the seller on these, a church who claims they were installed in the mid to late 80's, which would fit the dates on the E120's. Also said records show they weren't worked on at all since local sound company installed them.
I'm wondering if the sound company swapped out one in each cabinet for some reason as they look and sound identical in the cabs.

No, research is showing they made them w/aluminum dust cover. For extended HF. Date back to 73,
    Pair on Ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CELE...item4acab887aa
