Technical advice for pair horns 2395 ,with driver 2446j

1:I find a pair slant plates with original serialnumbers,little mistreated, and they sure!deserve a second life ,in carefull hands.
My question is ,the orgiginal color(s?) (RAL?)of them.i know there is a grey (RAL number?),but wondering if there more orginal colors available in the past?
2:In the future i have more work to do for my lounge project,any professional advice welcome,with a great appreciate! ,i'm more a hobby type with a great love for jbl more than 35 years,and have basic nowledge ,but i now also here on this site there are real specialist here for advice / settings/ and many more.

Nice find. Take the slants apart. Strip the old paint with a chemical stripper. Block sand, clean and repaint. Reassemble. Bead blast the horns. Repaint.

I did the same two years ago. There's a thread in this forum about my restauration. Expect to spend a good 20 hours. Well worth it.
