How do you move big loudspeakers?

Guys, who owned a big loudspeakers, over 100 kg weight - how do you move it?
Have you special devices, or you just get a help from friends?

With the help of strong friends. I like using an appliance dolly too. It really helps.

And take you time. Plan your route and make sure you can make all your turn before you actually move them. Preparation is key.

Depends on how FAR you want to move it
    - to the next room, to the next floor, or to the next town?

There is a lot to be said for putting a wheeled plinth underneath them ...

Four wheels of a carbage container under each of four big horns for theater groups.
The horns were movable like a feather.

I moved my 4345s down a winding stairway of the previous owner's house with a hand-truck, some straps, and a bunch of heavy cardboard to protect the edges.

I moved them into my house on a moving dolly from the local hardware store chain. Cost was about $20 USD:

". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
