i have finally finished this project. fully restored with new diaphrams, customized hovland crossovers.
These were in poor condition, so suit me as i like to totally refurbish them to like new.
I now no why these are loved so much by JBL collectors, when you sit down to listen to them with a few beers they command your attention with a big open JBL classic sound WHICH I JUST LOVE !!!.
i am looking forward to many years of enjoyment listening to them amazing speakers.

Very nice work. Good to see some new life in the vintage equipment. Your photos also remind me why these were called the "large format" models in the line.
