    Can L110 mids be upgraded?

Just wondering if mids can be upgraded.

"Upgraded" is an undefined idea. The existing mids are of extremely good quality. Changing them out with anything else will require a custom built crossover unless its an identical JBL driver.

Then my next question: Can the cabinet damping for 10" be replaced with different material for better response (ie deeper, louder in the low frequencies)? I know some custom cabinet makers use very dense damping material like wool fiber.

I love everything about the L110. Sometimes not sure how to get the best out of them on some recordings.

If you want more low end, get a bigger amp and/or a sub. The 10" drivers are great, but they will never give you the thump of a 12". (nor would you want to force them to)
