That would be a 4429. So... didn't you guys talk about the 100FE-12 at the party?
I very nearly bought a pair of these S3900's but ended up buying some Tannoy Precision 6.4's instead. They have an even narrower baffle.
I recall 100FE-12s being mentioned, with basically the same design intent information as you've stated.
The only other conversation about them that I recall was more along the lines of "what would you
do with them if you had some?", but that's probably fodder for a separate thread involving those
that might have such a "problem".

While I would obviously prefer the S3900, my wife definitely prefers the Tannoys (visually). The Tannoys look nice enough to put up in the living room. JBL's can, and do, go in any other room in the house.
I hope JBL sells tons of S3900's.
