    JBL Minigon Louver Grill Removal

I have executed a search for this topic, but no luck. Can someone provide me with instructions on how to remove the louver grills from a minigon c46?

Just looking at it I would loosen the nuts on the rods up against the pins and carefully slide it the rods thru the pins away from the woofer. Whats the anchor on the other side?? Are there holes that the rods sit in or pins in the last louver??

I am just guessing hopefully an owner will chime in

the two rods pictured above and below the tweeter must carefully be pulled out and away from the
curved panel and then slide the louvres toward the center until the threaded rods are free.
    Hope that helps.

Did you ever figure out exactly how to remove these in one piece? I recently purchased a pair and the ohm readings are weird, one is 5 ohms and the other reads 39. I need to pull the drivers and found this thread.

if anyone has any ideas on the ohm readings I'd be open to hearing them.

yes you first remove the wood piece with the jbl emblem. then you pull the louver towards you slightly wiggling if needed. this will release the metal bars that fit into the curved wood piece behind the grille. then remove the nuts from the screw side of the bars that fit the slat pieces and using a small hammer i tap the bars out
