    JBL 2225 to LE14A

    Hello with the Crazy price of the few LE14A H kits
    is it True you can trim a L2225 Recone kit to fit into a LE14A basket ?
    they are 1/2 the price of the LE14A kits

    Mass difference

    LE-14 cones are coated and are heavier.

    I've wanted to try this for some time, to see if it's possible - if it is it wouldn't be an LE14, but it sure would be interesting!

    How much are real JBL LE14 recones?

    They are NLA, but if you do find one (LE14H-1) it will be north of $250.
