To compare with real M2 in the same room.

    Hello Mathieu,

So, what are your plans to replace your original M2?
    http://www.kw55.fr/2016/01/destockag...hd-4x3500.html

Are you going to go with M2 clones?
Or maybe an augmented version with subs, or dual 2216nd ?
I saw you recently sold the dual 2269H subs.
I am curious so see what you will end up with!

    No, not the only one

To compare with real M2 in the same room.
I would be curious to compare various crossover options in that room!

    Hello Thomas,

I do not know yet, I'm going to sell everything. And I will keep what remains, M2 or clones. I have two more 2216, and two 2269H ... then I will have M2, one way or another.

When I say the only in Europe, I think "available for sale" ;-)

    See you soon, you're welcome.

    Thank you.

There were corrections but not specifically related to the positioning, because the walls are rather soft. Anyway these speakers are truly amazing, whether in small or large rooms.

There are more pictures of the room on my website

    Hi KW55,

I would expect using the mentioned 2269 as bass drivers, due to the M2 (2216Nd) bass "efficiency", would be the best solution.

    regards

Wow! Looks like it sounds amazing

Do you have a picture of the back-side of the room? I would really like to see it.

The EQ settings I last saw were just for the high or low pass sections and not for the input or common EQ section.
I'm guessing you have to use the input EQs because of limitations of this amp? It seems counter-intuitive to me that the input settings are all very close to the crossover frequency, is there a reason for this?

Another odd thing I just noticed about the settings I have is there are 14 PEQs in the high pass section, with the lowest one at 500Hz, well below the XO point of 782Hz.
Also the slope in my settings is set to 6db/oct and in 4313Bs recent posts it's 24db/oct.

It looks to me like there are a million ways to mess this up and I don't know what questions to ask...other than what is the right way to do this?

    What amp do you have?

It may differ depending what amplifier is being used. For example, if DCi is used then use the file settings for this amp and if I-tech HD is used then use the file setting for this amp.
