That part number corresponds to the M2 version of the D2430K, the one listed in the exploded view

Would you mind telling me what PN you are using? I ordered some stuff today and still couldn't pull up the 2216. Everything else shows up. I guess I could call tomorrow if I remember.

    Thank you,
    Barry.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

Did I see somewhere that either a 2435Be or 476Be was tried on this horn? I can't seem to locate it, Squirrel.....................................

I plan to try the 2435HPL on them when I receive the horns.
I don't think it has been measured yet.
If the matching is correct (ie no suckout above 10kHz) it could be a killer combo.

Well, Kind of coming from more of a home theater mindset. Previously I had a JTR Triple 12LF setup with 8 18" subs. Sold that house and now have decided not to spend the money to finish the basement and do another theater. At least not yet. So, my family room now has a 75" TV, an Oppo 105 BR player and an Emotiva XSP-1.

Bought Revel Studio 2 with an Hegel h300....didn't like that combo at all. Sold that and bought Legacy Focus SE with 2 Emotiva mono blocks. Liked that but didn't love it. Thought I was going to finish the basement so I sold the Legacy speakers and bought 3 Seaton Sound Catalyst 12 speakers. Used 2 of them in full range and then coupled them with 2 CHT 18" subs. Definitely loud, but never really liked the additional subs. So....sold the Cats and bought the M2's sight unheard.

M2's with Crown IT5000HD amps should be in my home next week.

Yes, no subs at all. Just the 2 M2's in two channel style.

    In Memory

Just a stray thought , our old pal Zilch would be enjoying all this M2 malarkey immensely.
