    Almost . . . !
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

    Hi,

Have you seen this? Pretty interesting.

    Both voice coils in series, 2 x 10 ohms = 20 ohms

Thanks, great video with an overview of the internal bracing!
Good thing he did not detach the D2 binding posts.

kw55 is an official JBL importer and the only place I know in France where one can listen to the M2.
He is not too far from the German and Belgium borders either...

    Alternative driver

Here is how a 2451Be (Truextent) looks like on the new JBL M2 waveguide. No correction, 1/24 smoothing, short window 4ms

Magnitude AND phase!!! Thank you! Enough information to know what is equalizable and what is not and that is a very usable horn driver combination!

    Many thanks.

Here is what a 30°/10° averaged measurement of a D2430K should look like on a M2 horn without any filter engaged:
(obtain by inversion of the active and passive correction, and with a LR36 800Hz target):

And for the sake of comparison, here is what I got when comparing a 2450SL-Be (should be identical to sebackman's 2451Be) and a D2430K on a PT waveguide:
