are there more complete drawings than this?

its basically just size and volume.

my builds look like crap so i would need to hire a third party with a cnc and include most dimensions.

    waveguide cutout
woofer cutout including recessing (couldnt find an official pdf for 2216ND)
    port cutout

when not using the original bafflebeoard, proximity of the reflex port (internally) is irrelevant right?

i suppose i could order the parts first, but id much rather be sure that the cabinet is right and looks ok enough before handing over all that cash.

The basket of 2216nd is 12mm deep to the rubber leap.
For mounting dimensions you can use the 2235H pdf.

Not sure this is a good strategy here, as some parts might not be available anymore when your boxes are ready...
Apparently this is already the case for the D2430K

This is not that surprising, as they finally realized they were selling a driver that pretty much kicked the ass of their current official component offering (2451H) for the most common frequency range these devices are used in nowadays in pro applications (>1.5kHz and no tweeter), for 1/5 of the price...

Anyone making the lips for the lower baffle?

I opened my center channel waveguide yesterday and was greeted by the following:

I figured if someone was making lower lips then I might be able to buy one (in addition to three lower lips) and use it to replace this upper lip on the lower part of the waveguide.

    Ouch
Maybe it is a good pretext to cut it out and turn the horn (and grill!) 180° for your center channel, and reduce c-c distance.

I did also get one M2 waveguide like this
I think the horn are made of some kid of plastic material, I would try to fix this

I`we got one LSR32 (had three and sold two). Will it work and blend in as HT-center for my DIY M2 you think? I was a little bit to cheap for buying one more set of M2 for center.

    Regards
    Karl

I am guessing it would blend pretty good dispersion-wise, but not in the same leauge dynamically.
A better match, with more dynamic sound (compression driver), would be my 4429 for sale!
The same speaker all around would be the optimal for HT, M2 center would be really cool

Could someone with the M2 or a dimensionally accurate MDF clones please take a close mic measurement of the woofer with only the original preset engaged (no room specific EQ) ?

I am investigating the reasoning behind the 3 high Q EQs around 200Hz.
So far one thing is clear (and was to be expected): if you are not building reasonably exact clones you would probably be better off leaving these EQ points out...

Although I don't have the woofer flush to the baffle like in the original, I'd be willing to give it a shot this weekend if no one else with more experience taking measurements comes along. On the bright side to this is that since I have limited experience we'd be able to use your choice of software so the captured data would be easily imported.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    That would be great Scott!
Any software that can output an impulse would do, like HOLM or REW for example.
The only important thing is to make sure you do not clip the measurement.

Ok REW it is. I have a buddy from work borrowing me an SPL Meter (hopefully today or tomorrow) so I can properly set up the SPL in REW.

    Thanks,
    Scott

No need to calibrate SPL: just make sure you don't overload the ADC, that's all
