Holy crap! What a time capsule.

Proof positive that they just don't make 'em like they used to.
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Very Cool. How long did you stand there dwelling on whether or not break the bindings and packing tape?

Nice compliment to the 250Tis for certain.

Oh, and be sure to send in your warranty/registration card...

    Absolutely beautiful; congratulations!!!

FIGHT THE URGE to throw out the packing material! It may be a pain to store it, BUT:

(1.) the value of our vintage stuff is dramatically increased if you have all the packing and it's in good condition when/if you ever want to sell it (I know, that day will NEVER come! )

(2.) if you ever have to move it, a speaker like that deserves to be in its original packaging.

I had a pair of 240Ti's that I purchased new in 1987 and kept all the packaging, sales receipt, etc. I sold them (cheap) to my sister and she moved to Arizona and used the packaging to keep them pristine all the way there. She move back and then unfortunately threw out the packaging; I almost shrieked! Maybe I'm weird, but my attic is full of boxes from all of my more expensive stuff.

Oh, and don't forget to mail in the warranty card!

Everything had been stored in a climate controlled building and it really is just as nice as can be

Posting a couple of photos to show my new honey, and how everything was packed.

WOW!!!!!! What a great find...... I'm sure anyone on the forum would be thrilled to find a B460 new they would jump at it. You'll love it, I have one and they rock the house !!!

    Whoah! Absolutely stunning!

Every B460 I've seen for sale has been buggered up somehow or other. This is like going back in time 30 years to a JBL dealer showroom. Congrats on the find of a lifetime!
