The HF card is biased. If you look at the caps and resistor values and the Pin Numbers 3 and 9 they are +/- 18 volts. That's why they are not on the original schematic. On a standard non biased card you would have a single cap for each pair and the 4.7 Megs R107, R108 wouldn't be there. Just think of a Charge Coupled network.

    Hello,
    I have again 2 questions:
Is there a technical manual or a crossover schematic for the K2 S9500 ?

In the DX-1 there is no equalization for the HF.
Is it right, that this equalization for the HF happens in association within the passive crossover of the S9500?

    Best regards

A little change at the layout, burr-brown OPAs, a nice enclosure, and I am happy!

Thank You for Your compliments! I will give them to the (re)builder of the DX-1, too.
For me the K2 was a dream about 10 or 15 years. I think, it is the best looking JBL, perheps the best of the world!

Currently on a French forum, pos and my-self are exchanging around S9500 filtering by using an active crossover (http://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/p...tml#p178498365)

pos provided parameters for replicating the response curves shown here by using a digital crossover, but on my side I simulated the circuit (it was to enable JBL 5235 owners to implement it using 523x crossover cards), and we identified the issue mentionned here by Dieter ("for HF the curve is very false"). My HF curve is resulting from a simulation using LT-Spice and it is different from the measured HF curve presented here.

We are trying to identify which one is the right one, there is about 100Hz of cutting point differences, which is not negligeable.

If someone has an idea about it would be welcomed.
