general cable hookup query w/JBL 6230/60

I'm running a pair of L150s through a JBL 6260 for my fronts.

For my center, I'm going to run (building a hybrid of a L110/L150/L100 this weekend) it through a 6230.

    1. Should I bridge this 6230 to match the power of the 6260?

    2. If so, do I need to connect both channels to my receiver (via the 1/4" to RCA cables)?

I'm pretty sure the answer is YES to both, but I need to know because I'll need to buy another cable if that's the case. Thanks,
    Jon

Well first thing I would do is hunt down the manual for the amp to see how you strap it. With my Crowns I throw a Stereo/Mono switch to mono. Input to channel 1. turn down channel 2 and then run the speaker of the Red/Positive amp terminals. As far as power with HT more than 50% of your program material is there. I run a strapped amp to my center channel to it gives me a little over 300 watts which works just fine.

You should have a preout to drive the strapped center channel amp correct??? Just a simple RCA to 1/4 mono will work just fine.
