    075 (2402)

What is the reason, the 075 (2402) goes up only to 15 kHz and the 077 (2405) to 20 kHz ?

    Regards

    Hi Paragon,

This came up last year sometime. The answer put forth then is that the 075 has a heavier diaphragm compared to the 077 . This makes a lot of sense because the extra weight also allows a lower crossover point ( which the 075 has ). The horn flare on the 075 also adds a bit more Mid-Band loading to support that lower crossover point .
