    Scientists at Argonne National Laboratory have discovered a way to use sound waves to levitate individual droplets of solutions.
    I don't know where ANL is but they are damn near 40 years late to claim discovery. This was done at Intersonics, a NASA contractor where Tom Danley was employed.
    If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

    A (now deceased) friend of mine was part of the NY Amateur film club that hired and shot early pix of Betty Page, btw ...
    he was quite the character! he had also collected many of the original oil paintings of Gil Elvgren that became known from
    those Brown and Bigelow calendars ... back in the day. A whole different quality of art ...
