I don't know where ANL is but they are damn near 40 years late to claim discovery. This was done at Intersonics, a NASA contractor where Tom Danley was employed.Scientists at Argonne National Laboratory have discovered a way to use sound waves to levitate individual droplets of solutions.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
Nevertheless, watching water suspended by soundwaves is captivating.
