    DVD Movie Audio

    We all spend tons on our equipment. I have researched the problem with DVD audio on many sites. It seems that most movie studios are not paying to have the theater audio, re-formatted for home theater audio.
    This results in low dialog, raising the volume to hear it, and damaging thunderous special effects as a result.
    Its not my idea of a fun time to constantly have a remote in my hand.
    I can't get one response from any movie studio.

    Most releases now have a Dolby compression feature built in to the disc, sometimes called "night time" or something like that. On my HK 354 I can just switch that in. It helps when
    watching movies like Master and Commander with my beloved spouse who doesn't seem to relish high spl as much as I do
