Baffle plans of the JBL 4344?

I know the new design has been posted, but I was hoping someone had the front baffle layout for the plain old 4344?
Nothing wrong with the 'new' offset 15"... but I seem to prefer the look of the original one with the ports to the side of
    the L-Pad plate & 10" !
Hoping someone could help as I would like to build a pair (as original as possible) on that design.

    Thanks!!!

Hi Rob, Thanks for the link to the: Discussion Thread JBL 4343 to 4344 upgrade. I already have it in 'My Favourites' !! However, your link got me to pge 3 [posts #251 to #265 of 295 posts!] The discussion at that stage was on crossovers.. I went a few pages either side, but I think I will have to go through the whole thread to find the Baffle Plan layout. Looks as though it is still a popular topic by the number of views my question raised. Goodness knows what sort of reaction my "first choice" would have generated ? : Baffle plans for the JBL 4343- using a 'single' baffle board [re: No rotatable top half.] ; utilising all the "nice things", 2235's, crossover tweaks, etc. To have "a real classic" in appearence with goodies under the hood! But I think the pic. in that same thread in post #2 - are the boxes I'm looking for- the one where Lancer says:What a mess! ...well, I for one tend to like that 'mess' look! Were there ever any plans done on the 4343? As far as you know? If in fact I do want to build that design instead? mmmm......?????Thanks for your help!!DogBox[Steve]

    Hey Rob,

Interesting thing... If I "sign out" , it puts things : just as you say it: pge 3! ...but all I could find were Ian's plans
of what eventuated into the "new" 4344 where I graciuosly got a lot of info from those 'graphic's drawn' plans..
I suppose there's not too much difference in the driver placement for me to move the ports back up beside the 10"...

Hi Rob, Just as I remembered I also had Mozilla Firefox installed, I used that browser to see the difference.... Wow! Everythings different... the smilies "move!" First time I realised! Just goes to show how much your browser can 'stuff things up for you without you even knowing..
You don't have a sketch or "mud map" of the 4343 do you?
    Thanks,

    Steve

In asking for the "layout" dimensions for the 4344...

Can I please get that to include: the rotatable top of the 4343...

maybe the front layout for the 4340/4341...??
In my 'Advanced Search' , it seems closely held information... Doesn't it classify as "Library Research Information"...??
Without trying to infringe on copyrighted design.. If I can't afford to "buy" a genuine pair..[wish I could!!].. Why cant I
"build" a pair properly, according to the proper design dimensions and parts available?

    DogBox,

    Steve
